Valves for Steam/Hot oils, Thermal Fluids
Valmicro ball valves constructed in accordance with pressure vessel ANSI B16.34 standards and with Cryosteam seat and seals material are used in steam and hot oil applications successfully.
The special composition of the Cryosteam seat material allows for thermal changes and provide positive shut-off and leak-tight integrity for On-Off steam service to 500# WSP ( limited by valve size- check with Valmicro application staff ) and for hot oils to 600°F @50#.
Live loaded steam seals provide for reliable and low maintenance performance and eliminate costly leaks.
Valmicro ball valves are constructed in accordance with pressure vessel ANSI B16.34 standards and offer maximum structural integrity.
Modulating control of steam and hot oils with Valmicro 2-way and 3-way ball valves is recommended for applications involving pressure drops to 100PSI. These valves offer class six or better shut-off and have inherent equal percentage flow characteristics.
Valves for oxygen service
Valmicro ball valves cleaned and degreased under rigid standards are offered for oxygen applications in various sizes, pressure classes and are available in scresed, socket weld, butt weld and flange ends.
Oxygen service valves are available in certified API fire-safe design also.
Material selection for oxygen service valves is depended on velocity of the flow in the valve. Maximum velocity for steel body valves is 200ft./sec.
High vacuum service
Standard Valmicro ball valves are rated to vacuum 29" Hg and with special order can be prepared as grease free valves.

Valves for steam peeler (potato peeler) application
Rapid cycling of the valves in steam peeler application combined with the very erosive nature of the flow through the valve has been reasons for constant maintenance and rebuilding of the valves.
Valmicro offers trunnion mounted ball design and metal seats for steam peeler application to reduce the frequency of the valve maintenance.
The special design of the actuators that open the valves in about .01 second, is a complement to the stem design of the valves and eliminates requirement for expensive and complicated accessories attached to actuator.
Valmicro potato peeler valves are very economical to purchase and they also reduce operating/maintenance cost substantially.
Security shut-off / web controlled / remote control valves
Valmicro ball and butterfly valves are available with electric actuators and communication equipment for application requiring special performance.
Security control valves are capable to sense presence of unwanted liquid and gas release and shut the system while sending information in form of email, voice mail and or alarms to the pre-established locations.
Pipe ruptures can be detected immediately and expensive damages can be prevented with security shut-off valves.
Accidental presence of CO2, Methane and various gases in buildings and pipelines is detected by the Valmicro security shut-off valve and lives can be saved.
